About the role

Stratas Foods LLC is the leading supplier of fats and oils to the Foodservice, Food Ingredients and Retail Private Label markets in North America and is a producer of quality bulk and packaged dressings, mayonnaise and sauces.
Stratas Foods was formed in October 2008 as a 50/50 joint venture between ACH Food Companies (ACH) and Archer Daniels Midland (ADM).
Manufacturing facilities are located in Dallas and Houston, TX; Decatur and Quincy, IL; Englewood, NJ; Hillside, NJ; Fresno, CA; Nashville, TN; and Valdosta, GA.

Possession of N-1 License required.
Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Minimum of 1 year of satisfactory experience in the operation and maintenance of equipment used in the controlling or purification of water at facilities.
Demonstrate ability to perform all mechanical/maintenance functions required of the position.
Ability to sit/stand/walk for long periods of time while performing job duties.
Must be capable of working in confined spaces and from heights, climbing stairs and/or ladders, bending, kneeling
able to lift 50 lbs periodically and must be able to wear a respirator required.

Must be PC literate with working knowledge of MS Office, and Outlook.
Demonstrate computer proficiency.
Physical: Ability to sit/stand/walk for long periods of time while performing job duties.
Good Listening Skills; Public speaking abilities to communicate with both hourly and salaried personnel.
Mental/Reasoning:
In keeping within the boundaries of company policy and union contracts.
Along with safety.
Conduct wastewater facility operations within the compliance guidelines that are established by the local utility.
Conduct equipment maintenance projects, housekeeping, preventative maintenance, and ground maintenance.
Conduct water sampling, sludge handling, safety inspections, and chemical transfers.
