About the role
- Job Description: Global Sourcing and Procurement (GSP), within the Global Operations organization at Russell Investments, has an exciting new opportunity for a Manager in IT/Services Procurement to join our team.
- The GSP organization is responsible for the procurement, sourcing, and contracting of various categories of spending across the global enterprise.

Responsibilities
- To be successful in this role you should bring varied experience that will empower you to deliver significant cost reduction, supplier validation, and the ability to continually benchmark procurement practices to improve business efficiencies while building strong relationships within the organization and with suppliers alike.
- This role will collaborate with other highly talented individuals supporting the procurement and sourcing of several key categories, including services related to auditing, marketing, management consulting, employee development and public relations.
- In addition to committing Russell Investment resources to purchase goods and services, this role is responsible for developing supplier strategies, fee negotiations and bid packages (RFI/RFQ/RFP).
- Develop and execute category strategies while managing the entire procurement process resulting in the best possible terms for value, quality, service and delivery
- Lead complex strategic initiatives through a holistic and systematic sourcing process

Requirements
- ability to define, and execute on, long-term strategic sourcing strategies.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in procurement, including developing and negotiating contracts
- Advanced knowledge of eProcurement practices, Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) applications, spend analytics tools and electronic invoicing options
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), Certified Purchase Manager (C.P.M.) or equivalent certification preferred
- Proven complex contract negotiation and supplier relationship management skills
- Excellent analytical, presentation, communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
Skills
- fluent in Excel and able to apply a mathematical lens to business problems.
- Strategic planning: ability to define, and execute on, long-term strategic sourcing strategies.

Compensation
- $120,000 USD - $140,000 USD
- Specific compensation will be based on candidate's experience, skills, qualifications, commercial considerations, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
