Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance or related discipline
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in public accounting in taxation or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 1 year in a managerial role involving clients and team members

Nice to have

  • Master's Degree in Taxation

Skills

  • Review and coordinate preparation of tax returns as it relates to partnerships, individuals, S and C-Corporations
  • Review and confirm assignment objectives, scope and work plan with client
  • Identify assignment resource requirements and ensure appropriate resources are allocated to specific engagement roles
  • Lead client billing and accounts receivable processes
  • Anticipate, identify, and resolve complex assignment issues
  • Assist with new business development and expansion of services for existing clients
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding engagement progress and seek client feedback on team performance
  • Coach and mentor staff and seniors on client engagements and career path
  • Begin to approach career in an executive way, taking ownership of responsibilities in a way that will position you for further advancement
