About the role
- Job Description: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
- Find Procedures in the OMF Computer System.
- Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
Responsibilities
- Performs preventative maintenance on all vehicles assigned.
- Drives truck to its destination.
- Maintains driver log according to I.C.C. regulations.
- Verifies load against shipping papers and maintains inventory accuracy.
- Drives gasoline or diesel powered tractor trailer, switcher, and tugger combination to transport and deliver products, or materials by performing the following duties.
- Maintains telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions.
- Performs emergency roadside repairs when necessary.

- EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Obtain a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid CDL Class "A" License
- Valid OMF Forklift Permit
