About the role
- The Chemical / Material Handler is responsible for the safe, compliant, and efficient management of chemicals and materials throughout their entire lifecycle within a semiconductor manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities
- Manage chemicals and materials from procurement through final disposal, ensuring full lifecycle accountability
- Deliver chemicals to production areas, ensuring safe transport and proper documentation
- Monitor chemical usage and maintain accurate inventory levels
- Maintain real-time inventory tracking systems for all chemicals and materials
- Manage SDS documentation and ensure accessibility and compliance
- Support cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation of inventory discrepancies
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in chemical handling, material management, or manufacturing support
- Knowledge of hazardous materials handling and chemical safety practices
- Ability to work in a cleanroom environment and follow strict protocols
- Ability to lift and move materials in accordance with safety guidelines
- Experience in semiconductor manufacturing or similar high-tech industry
- HAZWOPER certification (or ability to obtain)
- Familiarity with chemical inventory systems and tracking software
- Knowledge of chemical delivery systems and gas monitoring systems
- Ability to follow procedures and regulatory requirements
Compensation
- The salary range for this position is USD 24.00 - USD 29.00 per hour.
- This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents.
