About the role
- The Working Journeyman Electrician is responsible for performing skilled electrical work on commercial construction projects.
- This role combines expert hands-on installation with leadership in supporting apprentices and contributing to job-site efficiency.
- Install various types of electrical conduit systems according to NEC standards.
Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain temporary power systems.
- Install and maintain grounding systems for all equipment and structures.
- Build out electrical services and demonstrate knowledge in service applications.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage administrative functions.
Requirements
- Ability to work long hours, frequently standing, bending, or kneeling for extended periods.
- Must be able to handle a physical workload, possess personal tools, and have reliable transportation.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with CenterPoint standards preferred.
