About the role
- Physician will report to the Chief Medical Officer for clinical matters and the Hospital Chief Executive Officer or his or her designee for administrative matters.
- Provide professional medical services on a full-time basis to patients of assigned hospital(s).
- Such services shall include those services which are customarily performed by physicians practicing in the specialty of physical and rehabilitation medicine including, but not limited to rounding and consultations on patients.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Facility's leadership, staff, and other practitioners and consultants to help develop, implement and evaluate patient care policies and procedures that reflect current standards of practice.
- Admit to inpatient or other level of care for treatment Perform the general history and physical examination Perform pre-admission assessment Perform day 4 Plan of Care Review and approve of pre-admission screening Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Procedure Performing prompt, courteous and competent professional services in accordance with generally accepted professional standards for such services.

- Performance of administrative services may be reasonably required.

- Qualifications POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Training: Must possess M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school.
- Must hold current state medical license.
