About the role

  • We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to led the Scale Test product.
  • This is a high-impact, high-visibility role at the intersection of platform engineering, enterprise customer success, and AI-driven testing innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Own the prioritized roadmap for Scale Test - covering test plan creation, test scheduler, test execution, load generation, UI script recorder/builder, and AI-powered features (Scale Agent, AI Script Healing)
  • Own end-to-end product strategy, roadmap, and delivery for Scale Test across multiple engineering teams (managed load generation, analytics platform, DevOps integration)
  • Lead the Vibe Testing capabilities roadmap: enabling PMs, admins, and non-engineers to intuitively define, run, and interpret performance tests through natural language and AI-guided flows - reducing reliance on scripting expertise and democratizing scale testing across teams
  • Drive the Pilot-to-GA pipeline for cutting-edge capabilities including Scale Agent (AI assistant for test analysis), Load Generation, and AI Script Healing
  • Partner with Sales, AEs, CSMs, and Solution Architects on GTM strategies - including sales plays, competitive positioning, customer enablement, and new market expansion
  • Collaborate with the enablement team on Trailhead modules, internal FAQs, sales canvases, and persona-based selling guides
  • Drive sprint planning, feature scoping, and launch readiness across engineering and research teams
  • Represent Scale Test at customer conversations, TDX/Dreamforce sessions, partner discussions, and internal executive reviews

  • Full product lifecycle ownership: From Pilots (Scale Agent, AI Script Healing, Vibe Testing) to GA releases to new market expansion (GovCloud, Partners, global enterprise)

Requirements

  • 7+ years of Product Management experience, with at least 4+ years in a B2B SaaS or platform product role.
  • Ability to operate autonomously in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and make high-quality decisions with incomplete information
  • Prior experience with performance testing, load testing, or developer tooling products (e.g., LoadRunner, JMeter, or similar)
  • Agentic testing experience - you've built or managed products that test AI agents, agentic workflows, or autonomous systems
  • Experience with testing/observability/monitoring products - you've built or managed products in the DevOps toolchain (load testing, APM, observability, CI/CD, test automation)
  • Work across Salesforce product teams (Agentforce, Data Cloud, Hyperforce, Platform) to ensure Scale Test integrates effectively and is positioned as a required step in every major go-live

Nice to have

  • Hands-on exposure to Agentforce, Hyperforce, Salesforce Platform, or adjacent Salesforce products
  • Deep knowledge of Salesforce platform - multi-tenant SaaS architecture, sandboxes (Full Copy, Partial Copy, Developer), Hyperforce, governor limits, metadata model, Apex/LWC performance
  • Experience with Salesforce developer tooling or platform products - DevOps Center, Code Analyzer, Optimizer, CLI, VS Code extensions, or similar DX products
  • Understanding of Agentforce testing needs - what metrics matter (prompt latency, action execution time, LLM error rates, agent success rate, reasoning quality), how to measure quality at scale
  • Passion for democratizing developer tooling - making complex workflows accessible to non-engineers through low-code and AI-guided experiences (Vibe Testing)
  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience driving Pilot-to-GA product launches with strong customer feedback loops
  • Familiarity with GovCloud / public sector requirements including FedRamp or equivalent data residency standards

Compensation

  • At Salesforce, we believe in equitable compensation practices that reflect the dynamic nature of labor markets across various regions.The typical base salary range for this position is $172,500 - $260,100 annually.

  • Partner with ISVs, SIs, and GovCloud customers to understand their unique testing requirements (e.g., data residency, compliance, FedRamp) and drive feature development accordingly
  • Define and drive the Agentforce testing strategy - understanding how customers build and validate Agentforce implementations at scale and driving features to support their go-lives
