About the role

  • Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer, this is a highly visible role where you will operate at the strategic center of the company, influencing how our science and technology converge to solve complex problems.
  • Concurrently, you will work with our ML engineers, software engineers, and other computational scientists to translate complex drug discovery needs into a seamless user experience that accelerates our ability to find novel cures.
  • You will present regularly to executive leadership and key stakeholders on product impact and strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product lifecycle for tDesign, defining a roadmap that aligns with Terray's high-level scientific and business goals.
  • Partner with scientific stakeholders to ensure technical specifications accurately translate and support biological and chemical realities and drive alignment across the organization.
  • You will empower our medicinal chemists and molecular design scientists by giving them intuitive access to our proprietary AI models through automated workflows and drug discovery agents.

Requirements

  • Software Product Excellence: Proven experience (5+ years) managing complex, high-technical software products in a tech-first, SaaS, or high-growth environment.
  • We value strong product fundamentals (discovery, definition, execution) over specific life sciences domain expertise.
  • Technical Fluency: Ability to grasp complex AI/ML/computational concepts and translate them into user-facing features (e.g., visualizing model confidence, managing inference workflows).

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with the technical and operational nuances of deploying applications into diverse, secure, or client-hosted cloud environments (e.g., secure VPCs).

Compensation

  • $195,000 - $294,000 (annually) depending on experience; participation in the Company's option plan; 3% retirement safe harbor contribution; fully-paid medical, dental, vision, life and disability benefits; and much more.
