About the role

Hours: Monday-Friday, 3:15-5:30 p.m. Salary: $16.25/hr.
Central Downtown Preschool is looking for a part-time daycare provider to care for children 3-5 years old.
This person will close the daycare at the end of the day.

Create a warm, welcoming, and positive classroom environment.
Foster positive social interactions and help children develop problem-solving and communication skills.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary classroom.

Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices.
Ability to pass required background checks and meet state licensing requirements.
The employee must be able to supervise children in a variety of settings while maintaining a safe and engaging environment.
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Skills and Abilities
Genuine love for working with children.
Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Work Environment This position requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, and actively participating in indoor and outdoor activities. The employee must be able to supervise children in a variety of settings while maintaining a safe and engaging environment.
