About the role
- You will work closely with podcast producers, hosts, and the podcast marketing team to reflect each show's distinct audience and aesthetic.
Responsibilities
- Develop and produce engaging social content for each show in the podcast slate - including video cut-downs of episodes, motion graphic promos, image assets, GIFs, stories/reels, caption copy, and platform-specific variants.
- Collaborate with show producers and hosts to identify compelling moments in episodes that translate into short-form social pieces
- Optimize content for platform performance (length, format, captioning, hashtags, thumbnails, CTAs) and stay current with algorithm changes and emerging formats.
- Maintain an archive of assets and templates, and iterate efficiency in production workflows (templates, automation, batching).
- Solid skills in editing short-form video tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects) and comfort with static image design (Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva) and motion graphic templates.
- Ability to manage multiple projects/shows simultaneously, prioritize under tight deadlines, collaborate across teams.
- Collaborate with show producers and hosts to identify compelling moments in episodes that translate into short-form social pieces; craft the storytelling arc for each clip.
- As a Podcast Social Media Producer you will create and deploy social content for multiple shows in our network.
- You will develop short-form video clips, motion graphic promos, still assets and platform-tailored content.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to adapt creative approach/tone to different show audiences and brand personalities (for example, a tech-business show vs. a culture-comedy show).
- Strong understanding of social platforms and their nuances: Instagram (feed, stories, reels), TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn.
