About the role

  • This position is responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of all facility equipment and systems.
  • The role ensures that all maintenance activities are performed efficiently, minimizing production downtime and ensuring operational uptime.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on all production & facility equipment.
  • Use a variety of industrial equipment, tools and machinery to perform repairs and maintenance of equipment.
  • perform all other duties as determined by the General Manager or his designate
  • Maintain spare parts and components inventory at appropriate levels.

Requirements

  • 2 to 5 years of experience working as a maintenance mechanic, technician, or similar role in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read, write and speak fluent English.
  • Experience with mechanical, electrical, plumbing or HVAC systems.
  • Experience with Pneumatic, Hydraulic, and associated mechanical systems.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects - up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and standing for extended periods.
  • Must be familiar with QS-9000 procedures.
  • Overtime as required.
  • Performs duties as required including the repair and troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical systems and tools.
  • Provides trouble-shooting assistance to other maintenance personnel as required.

Skills

  • The position requires hands-on technical skills in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.

Compensation

  • $27.00 to $30.00 per hour

  • Basic Requirements:
