About the role

  • You will work across the product surface: from polished user-facing workflows in Next.js to durable backend services, database models, integrations, and operational tooling.

Responsibilities

  • As a Senior Software Engineer, you will help build Alamo, the internal MES/ERP platform powering The American Housing Corporation's design, real estate, manufacturing, operations, and supply chain workflows.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Experience with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.
  • Track record of shipping complex product features in ambiguous environments.
  • Strong product judgment and ability to work closely with non-technical operators and stakeholders.
  • Improve system reliability, observability, performance, security, and developer experience.
  • Strong experience building fullstack web applications in TypeScript.
  • Deep familiarity with React and modern frontend architecture.
  • Strong backend engineering fundamentals, including API design, data modeling, service boundaries, and production debugging.
  • Care for craft: clean abstractions, thoughtful UI, robust tests, and maintainable systems.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, high-ownership environment.
