About the role
- The Aviation Mechanic is responsible for ensuring safety for both the general public and the Sheriff's Office pilot core, all the while meeting the Federal Aviation Administration standards and regulations.

Requirements
- Three (3) years of experience of repair and maintenance of rotorcraft/helicopter aircraft.
- Knowledge and experience working with both piston and turbine powered aircraft.
- Must possess or have the ability to obtain by the time of hire, a valid Arizona driver's license.
Nice to have
- Prior to hiring, the Sheriff's Office requires that all candidates pass a background review.
- Bell Helicopter Factory School Training and/or experience maintaining Bell 407, Bell 429 or other Bell Helicopters.
