About the role
- We have opportunities in Reading and Math.
- You will be able to become an expert tutor in either or both.
- As a Reading Tutor at Braintrust Tutors, you will work with elementary school students in a school setting to strengthen their reading comprehension, fluency, and critical thinking skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide small-group or 1:1 reading/math tutoring to students developing literacy skills
- Implement Braintrust Tutors' intervention programs as designed, using all materials with fidelity
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and academic performance
- Collaborate with the Braintrust Tutors Operations team and school staff to support student growth
- Manage time effectively during sessions to complete all planned instructional activities
- (MATH) Knowledge of math instruction that builds number sense, procedural fluency, and problem-solving skills, with a scope and sequence ranging from counting to multi-digit arithmetic, including decimals and fractions.
Requirements
- To be considered, interested applicants must be available for the entire schedule.
- Comfort collaborating with teachers and staff

- Active/expired teaching license or at least 5 years of experience working with K-8 students in an educational environment
