About the role
- This role will work hybrid out of our Downtown Chicago office.
- The ideal candidate will balance strategic people initiatives with ownership of execution, ensuring clarity, alignment, and accountability across supported teams while managing day-to-day tactical operations aligned to business priorities.
- The successful candidate is a proactive individual who fosters partnerships at all levels of the organization and thrives in an agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Partner with leaders on employment relations, performance management, and related employment matters, providing guidance while ensuring appropriate ownership and escalation.
- Stay closely connected to day-to-day people activity, providing hands-on support to leaders, monitoring progress across multiple priorities, and proactively following up to ensure momentum, clarity, and resolution.
- Partner with People Centers of Excellence to implement and execute people strategies across assigned business areas.
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience in a generalist or people partner capacity, with demonstrated strength in operational execution. Experience supporting organizations or teams within complex, matrixed, or evolving environments.

- Strategic People Partnership - Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders and management teams, aligning people strategies with strategic pillars to drive business results.
- Provide guidance on workforce planning, organizational design, and talent management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience.

- Strong business acumen with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization on people-related matters.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative and practical approach.
- Deep knowledge of people best practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
