- Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in marketing communications, event management, or related field, or equivalent via education and/or experience 5 years' experience in marketing communications or marketing events role Demonstrated experience managing successful events and campaigns Demonstrated project management skills Demonstrated experience in vendor negotiation Demonstrated successful working relationships with clients, suppliers, and other internal and external contacts Demonstrated successful positive personal leadership, interpersonal, organizational, administrative, and communication skills Proficiency in MS Office Suite Availability to travel domestically, up to approximately 25%, and internationally, up to approximately 15%, sometimes on short notice Demonstrated continuous improvement in areas of responsibility Preferred Qualifications - MBA or master's in marketing - 5 years' marketing experience in the power electronics or other capital equipment industries in any combination of the metals, material handling, renewable energy systems, paper, or related general industries - Proficiency in current design software, including Adobe Creative Cloud apps (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) - Demonstrated experience with a foreign-owned business, preferably Japanese - Demonstrated experience in a dynamic, high-growth, global engineering services organization or industry served by the
