About the role
- The Regional Vice President, Asia & Australia Pacific, is a business leader who is profit minded, and able to execute the regional strategy through effective management of people and process.
- Dynamic leadership abilities, combined with exceptional communication, analytical, and sales & marketing skills are essential to success in this role.
- This position will be the ultimate role model for the team in providing high level customer service to clients and potential clients and oversees the development of their staff through consistent mentorship and performance management.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with HR and direct reports in the selection, onboarding, development, retention & engagement of Destination Experts.
- Coaching & developing Sales Directors to review, understand and performance manage team members' sales, customer service and productivity results on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Build and execute direct report development plans, to drive optimal performance and deliver against regional plans and priorities.
- Deliver Client Experience (KPIs: NPS)
- Deliver against your region's customer experience goals and objectives by ensuring the sales team consistently delivers a great experience throughout the customer journey.
- Collaborate with Marketing to ensure the lead-feed and demand generation activities are supporting the monthly sales pipeline.
- Accountable for the region's results by managing or influencing all aspects that generate regional revenue/sales and influence with partners across marketing, lead generation strategies, competitive analysis and pricing strategies, product and merchandising.
- Responsible for developing and managing the go-to-market plan for their region that will substantially increase revenue, ensure margin is maximized, balance staffing to demand, build market share and establish a differentiated brand in the marketplace.
- Working with key stakeholders (which includes a cross functional team with colleagues across Sales, Product, and Marketing) in reviewing regional results and developing action plans that address opportunities, positively impact the business and enhance customer experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, Hospitality, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in sales, commercial operations, or business management.
- Experience leading geographically dispersed teams and driving results across international markets.
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Experience within the travel, hospitality, luxury, or service industry is considered an asset.
- Willingness and ability to travel as required.
