Responsibilities

  • Drive roadmapping and architecture discussions
  • Lead Merge's most impactful projects from initial inception to production
  • Unblock and support your team of peers including engineers, designers, product managers, and business operators
  • Scaling Core Systems: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in our data syncing engine, lead large-scale migrations to more efficient technologies and storage solutions, and drive initiatives to increase system throughput
  • New Revenue Streams: Partner with Product to ideate, prototype, and validate entirely new product lines or feature categories that unlock growth opportunities

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will have:

Nice to have

  • 10+ years of full-time software engineering experience
  • Experience with frameworks (Django, Rails, Spring, etc.)
  • Extensive knowledge of SQL databases (Postgres preferred)

Skills

  • Merge's enterprise-grade platform handles the entire integration lifecycle, from authentication and security to monitoring and maintenance.

Compensation

  • The cash compensation range for this role is $210,000 - $250,000
  • Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, and certifications.
  • In addition to cash compensation, all full time employees receive an equity compensation package
  • Annual company offsites and quarterly team events. Past locations have included: Nashville, Sonoma, and the Hudson Valley
