About the role

Responsibilities

  • You will not only manage the monthly close and cash management processes but also serve as a crucial strategic partner, recommending advances in financial policy to support our ongoing growth and stability.
  • Lead, mentor, and set high standards for our dedicated accounting team, fostering a culture of professional growth, strong performance, and interdepartmental collaboration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.
  • Advanced computer skills, including experience with financial accounting software (MIP and Sage Intacct preferred).

Compensation

  • Ensure compliance and readiness: Coordinate annual audits, oversee accurate tax filings, and ensure proper accounting treatment and compliance for restricted contributions.

  • Oversee day-to-day fiscal operations, including cash management, weekly payables, wire transfers, and health center cash handling procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting responsibility (experience in non-profit and/or healthcare accounting is highly preferred).
