About the role
- Responsible for conducting comprehensive
- Polysomnography and Home Sleep Apnea Testing (HSAT) to include:
- patient preparation, monitoring, analyzing, titrating (including BPAP/Complex), and scoring sleep studies in accordance with AASM standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform specialized mask fitting and desensitization to ensure patient comfort and therapy compliance.
- Recognize and document respiratory events in real-time to initiate PAP titration protocols when clinical criteria are met.
- Support the Home Sleep Apnea Testing (HSAT) program, including patient instruction, device dispensing, and data download.
- Participate in monthly safety inspections and biological calibrations on all PSG and PAP equipment; maintain clinical inventory and report equipment malfunctions via appropriate channels.
Requirements
- Required - Registered Polysomnographic Technologist certification (RPSGT) within one year from hire date.
- Required - Basic Life Support (BLS) within 3 months of hire.
Nice to have
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience performing and scoring polysomnography.
- 3 -5 years of experience with Cadwell Easy III or similar digital PSG platforms
- proven experience in scoring and advanced PAP titration (Bilevel/ASV).
- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist certification (RPSGT) within one year from hire date.
- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) credential.
- Preferred - 3 -5 years of experience with Cadwell Easy III or similar digital PSG platforms
