About the role

Respond to work orders and service requests in a timely and professional manner.
Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.

Our Terran R vehicle will deliver customer payloads to orbit, meeting the growing demand for launch capacity.

Whether you're in propulsion, manufacturing, software, avionics, or a corporate function, you'll collaborate across teams, shape decisions, and see your work come to life in record time.
Maintain accurate records of work performed in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).

3+ year of general maintenance, facilities, or related experience preferred (internships or apprenticeships acceptable).
Basic knowledge of one or more trades (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry).
Ability to read and follow instructions, manuals, and simple schematics.
Basic computer skills
experience with CMMS a plus.
Willingness to be on-call for occasional after-hours emergencies.

Operate basic tools and equipment safely in compliance with OSHA and company standards.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

The launch operations team is a part of the Cape Canaveral launch site and is primarily responsible for the operational aspects of vehicle integration, payload integration, pad operations, countdown operations, recovery, and reusability.
Over the last few years, the launch operations team successfully lifted the Terran 1 vehicle off the ground and have transitioned focus to designing and building the infrastructure to support our next generation vehicle, Terran R.
The team is working hand in hand across multiple engineering disciplines to build out critical systems such as the launch pad, transport erector, integration hardware, transport vessels, horizontal integration facilities, and much more to support the Terran R program.
The Facilities Technician supports the daily operations, maintenance, and repair of company facilities.
