About the role

  • We're looking for a strategic, driven, and business-minded Senior Product Marketing Manager for web application firewalls (WAF) to join our team.

  • The role requires a technical understanding of WAFs and excellent writing and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • The Senior Product Marketing Manager (PMM) for web application firewalls (WAF) will launch and support WAFs and WAF-related products and services.
  • This role is all about connecting customer need, market trends, and business goals to deliver exceptional product positioning and go-to-market (GTM) strategies.
  • You will shape how F5 WAF products are seen in the world, and you will drive the success of our solutions-from awareness to adoption.
  • Develop compelling product messaging and positioning that resonates and differentiates F5 web application firewall products in the market
  • Support product and services launches by developing product marketing strategy launch plans for new products and releases, and managing the cross-functional implementation of those plans
  • Build and leverage market intelligence by understanding new and emerging F5 buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria, and by understanding the competition and how to position successfully
  • Contribute to integrated marketing efforts by delivering product content and participating in activities for the marketing campaigns and programs that drive F5 product demand
  • Own your role: take initiative, bring solutions, and hold yourself to a high standard of accountability

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree required.
  • 6+ years of experience in security product marketing, product management, technical marketing, or equivalent

Compensation

  • $137,600.00 - $206,400.00
  • F5 maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, geographic locations, and market conditions, as well as to reflect F5's differing products, industries, and lines of business.
