About the role

  • This role plays a critical role in safeguarding Genworth's senior leaders, board members, and key stakeholders by delivering discreet, professional, and risk‑based protective services.
  • The role requires strong situational awareness, sound judgment, and the ability to respond effectively to dynamic and evolving security conditions while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.
  • Conduct protective advances, site assessments, and route planning

Responsibilities

  • Provide close protection and security support for executives during business travel, meetings, and events (domestic and international)
  • Maintain a low-profile, professional presence aligned with corporate culture
  • Support emergency response and incident management involving executives
  • Support go/no-go decisions and mitigation planning for higher-risk travel or events
  • Support crisis management and business continuity activities as needed
  • Maintain documentation aligned with Genworth policies, standards, and audit expectations

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of work experience with 2+ years of experience in executive protection, protective intelligence, or security operations
  • Experience supporting senior executives or high-profile principals
  • Demonstrated ability to assess risk, make sound judgments, and remain composed under pressure
  • Ability to travel as required (including short-notice travel)

Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Compensation

  • This role is aligned to a national market-based pay range.
