Responsibilities

  • Community Engagement & Sector Liaison: Represent the organization at sectoral tables and advocacy initiatives, promote the organization's shelter programs in the community and maintain positive relationships with partner organizations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Director or designate.
  • For over 50 years, they have provided vital services including emergency shelter support, transitional housing, and community outreach programs.

Requirements

  • Manage day-to-day emergency shelter operations to ensure effective service delivery, support case management processes and respond to crises as required.
  • Ensure all policy documents are up-to-date and accessible, submit program statistics and funder reports on schedule, and oversee incident reporting and complete WSIB forms when required.
  • WHAT YOU WILL BRING ๐ŸŽ“ Bachelor of Social Work or a related degree.

Nice to have

  • Experience in a unionized work environment is preferred.

Compensation

  • $75,000 to $80,000 CAD Annually Vacancy: Current Opening
