About the role
- SkyGrid, a Wisk Company, exists to open the sky for autonomous flight.
- The ideal candidate will have a background in systems and software quality assurance with expert knowledge in quality processes and guidelines as established by ARP-4754, RTCA DO-178C and DO-254.
- Additionally, the ideal candidate will have a background in corporate quality assurance and is familiar with Quality Management System (QMS) associated standards such as AS9100D, AS9100, or ISO900.
Responsibilities
- Develop and coordinate corporate level QMS through business pyramid that aligns with SMS and SecMS.
- Develop company policies, operating procedures, and work instructions.
- Ensure compliance at the product/program level per planning document.
- Manage teams and ensure staffing needs are identified.
- Manage and report assurance and certification risks for escalation and resolution in a timely manner.
- Engaging Team Activities: Participate in quarterly team-building events and celebrations organized by our dedicated culture committee.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in STEM.
- 10+ years of experience working in a highly technical, aerospace-related industry.
- 5+ years of experience in quality assurance for highly complex system (DAL C and higher).
- Strong working knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality standards.
- Experience leading quality assurance audits with regulators throughout the entire program development lifecycle.
- Able to understand regulatory standards as defined by FAA and foreign regulatory agencies, and decipher the level of compliance required.
- Effective communication skills, self-driven, and capable of participating in regulatory focused discussions.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with certification standards such as 14 CFR Part 23, 25, 27, or 29.
