- Echodyne is seeking an Electrical Engineer II to join our fast-growing team.
Responsibilities
- You will lead and contribute to design-shaping discussions and technical reviews with multidisciplinary teams to develop robust radar architectures, resolve complex technical challenges, and align work with program objectives and Design for Excellence (DFX) principles.
- You will provide technical expertise (while continuing to build your own) in AMS circuit design, simulation, and analysis to guide design execution, verification planning, and risk mitigation.
- Background in Analog & Mixed-Signal Circuit Design
- Strong foundation in analog and mixed-signal circuit theory and hands-on experience developing high-reliability commercial or consumer products
- Understanding of core analog and digital building blocks including operational amplifiers, logic gates, clock buffers, level shifters, power management ICs, current mirrors, charge pumps, oscillators, and voltage regulators
- Skilled in circuit design and simulation using tools such as Altium Designer (or equivalent) and SPICE-like tools
- Practical experience applying principles of Design for Manufacturability, Assembly, and Test to improve product quality, testability and yield throughout the design lifecycle
- Hands-on experience in board bring-up, Acceptance Testing, and Design Verification of PCBs, ensuring seamless transitions from prototype to production
Requirements
- BS Degree in Engineering, Material Science, or Physics
- Echodyne's technology is export controlled by the U.S. Government and we must evaluate an applicant's eligibility to handle export-controlled information or obtain required Government authorizations.
- 4 or more years' experience in design of printed circuit assemblies for mixed signal applications
- Eligibility to handle export-controlled information (ITAR/EAR)
- RSU (Restricted Stock Units)
Skills
- Understanding of low-speed signaling protocols (e.g. SPI, I2C, etc.)
Compensation
- The expected annual salary range for this role is
- $115,000 - $140,000 USD
