Responsibilities

  • Picks up meals and supplies, and performs general shuttling logistics throughout the event site and beyond.
  • We embrace the ten principles of Burning Man and work collaboratively with the Burning Man Emergency Services Department to support the overall patient care and public safety infrastructure in Black Rock City.
  • The employee must maintain composure and tact in stressful situations.
  • Individuals may be asked to perform job-related tasks beyond those specifically outlined in this description.

Requirements

  • Must be able to sit, climb, balance, step, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
  • Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to 150 pounds, and occasionally up to 200 pounds.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Driving Record must be acceptable (waived for non-driving positions).

Nice to have

  • Prior experience at Burning Man.
  • Experience working in a close-quarters or communal living environment.
