About the role

Responsibilities
- Designs, develops, and maintains data pipelines and computational workflows to support large-scale scientific or analytical datasets.
- Implements ETL processes and workflow automation to ensure data is analysis-ready and reproducible.
- Performs data validation, quality control, and documentation of data pipelines and provenance.
- Collaborates with technical and domain teams to troubleshoot data issues and tailor solutions to analytical needs.
- Optimizes performance and resource usage for high-volume data processing.
Requirements
- Ability to Obtain Public Trust
- Master's degree in bioinformatics, computational science, or related field
- Proficiency in Python, R, and workflow tools
- experience with databases and cloud/HPC environments.
Nice to have
- Experience in distributed computing or large-scale data environments
- Familiarity with research data ecosystems.
- Prior NIH experience

Compensation
- The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,000.00.
