About the role
- Important dimensions of this position consist of quality of care, professional commitment, teamwork, interpersonal skills, safety, customer service, fiscal responsibility, and a broad scope of pharmacy knowledge.
- This role requires ongoing professional development, including attending continuing education conferences, remaining up to date in pharmacy literature, and presenting patient cases or doing medication reviews.
- The Clinical Pharmacist also responds to various emergency situations including codes.
Requirements
- As required to meet State of California licensure requirements.
- State of California RPH (Pharmacist) license is required.
- ACLS must be completed prior to completion of the introductory period and independent assignment.
- DEA license required and must be completed at the end of the introductory period.
Nice to have
- Completed an accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency (which is the preferred option), or
- Worked at least three years in a Clinical Pharmacist position within the prior 5 years, or
- Worked at least five years as an Inpatient Pharmacist or Acute-care Pharmacist, or.
- Worked at least 1 year in a Clinical Pharmacist position when applying for a night shift clinical pharmacist position.
- Board certification preferred.
Compensation
- Hourly Evening Shift Differential: $5.80
- Hourly Night Shift Differential: $10.00
