Responsibilities
- Documents all clinical activities and interventions accurately and completely.
- Completes and documents monthly inspections of all assigned medication storage areas in a timely and comprehensive manner.
- Staff pharmacists supervise and direct support personnel.
Requirements
- Issues controlled substances to patient care areas and maintains records as required by law.
- In the absence of the pharmacy manager/supervisor, a staff pharmacist may be required to assume the essential responsibilities and perform the duties of the pharmacy manager.
Nice to have
- Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS in Pharmacy, an MS in Pharmacy or a Doctor of Pharmacy.
- NYS Pharmacy license required.
- Oncology pharmacy board certification preferred (BCOP).
- Basic and advanced computer skills
- proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
- Able to work collaboratively on a multidisciplinary team.
- This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
