Responsibilities
- Technical support and direction to contractors and in-house personnel.
- Provide technical support to the station staff as needed to address technical problems.
- Act as administrator for the station technical library files and effectively manage these support systems.
- Support for NERC compliance reporting and testing.

- As the Plant Engineer you will be responsible for all environmental emissions compliance and reporting, permitting activities, technical support, and safety training at the site.
Requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite programs.
Nice to have
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with a strong working knowledge of power plant operations and maintenance.
- Experience with Provincial and Federal air emissions and environmental reporting.
- Experience with NERC compliance.
- Ability to handle daily communication of expectations, provide feedback and work collaboratively with plant staff.
- High degree of flexibility and the capacity to work in a rapidly changing and ambiguous environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and very strong interpersonal skills are essential.
- This position is open due to an existing vacancy.
- Bachelor of Science degree in either mechanical or electrical engineering is preferred, other engineering, environmental science, or occupational safety degrees considered.
Compensation
- 135,000.00 - 167,500.00 CAD Annual
- The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position.
- Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education and skills.
- In addition to base pay, the total annual compensation package may also include eligibility to participate in our bonus program(s) which are designed to reward individual and company performance.
