Technical support and direction to contractors and in-house personnel.
Provide technical support to the station staff as needed to address technical problems.
Act as administrator for the station technical library files and effectively manage these support systems.
Support for NERC compliance reporting and testing.

As the Plant Engineer you will be responsible for all environmental emissions compliance and reporting, permitting activities, technical support, and safety training at the site.

Minimum of 5 years of experience with a strong working knowledge of power plant operations and maintenance.
Experience with Provincial and Federal air emissions and environmental reporting.
Experience with NERC compliance.
Ability to handle daily communication of expectations, provide feedback and work collaboratively with plant staff.
High degree of flexibility and the capacity to work in a rapidly changing and ambiguous environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and very strong interpersonal skills are essential.

Bachelor of Science degree in either mechanical or electrical engineering is preferred, other engineering, environmental science, or occupational safety degrees considered.

135,000.00 - 167,500.00 CAD Annual
The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position.

In addition to base pay, the total annual compensation package may also include eligibility to participate in our bonus program(s) which are designed to reward individual and company performance.
