About the role
- The Adjunct Faculty Instructor for ESL (English as a Second Language) in the NexStep program is responsible for teaching non-native English speakers to enhance their language skills for academic and practical purposes.
- The instructor will modify and adapt instructional strategies to address diverse language proficiencies and learning styles.
- Apply differentiation, small-group strategies, and problem-solving approaches to meet diverse learning needs.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, student-centered instruction using our established curriculum.
Requirements
- Track attendance, maintain student records, and complete required documentation promptly.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred
- equivalent experience considered.
- Preferred Experience & Skills: Background in ESL, Language Arts, English, or related fields.
Skills

- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse student populations.
- Must pass a background check and hold a valid Kansas driver's license.
