About the role

Work is more than ordinary difficulty requiring certain techniques or special knowledge which generally are acquired through experience on the job.
Flexible scheduling, hours will vary based on candidate availability, department needs, and weather.

Under immediate supervision, work duties are primarily train operation, maintenance, event support and custodial services.

At least 18 years of age.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Starting hourly rate for Train Operator is $14.50 year one.
Valid driver's license and a driving history that meets County standards.
Knowledge of building and grounds maintenance activities and processes preferred. Relevant vocational training or prior experience in a specific trade can be beneficial.
Ability to perform varied tasks to completion without immediate supervision.

Previous experience with vehicles and equipment preferred.

Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
Ability to complete written communications, reports, documents etc.
Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions (sun, heat, humidity, rain, cold).

Starting hourly rate for Train Operator is $14.50 year one. This is a seasonal position and there are no benefits.
