About the role
- Embedded Software Engineer The Opportunity: Are you excited to apply RF quantum sensing technologies to critical national security missions?
- Your expertise in RF digital signal processing software development will be critical to integrate, test, and evaluate RF quantum sensing technologies.

Requirements
- 7+ years of experience with software development languages, including Python, C, or C++
- Experience with the design, development, and testing of real-time software for microcontrollers interfacing with specialized hardware
- Experience with digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms and RF theory, including building the front and back end of a spectrum analyzer
- Experience using Agile processes and tools, including Jira or Confluence, and using version control, including GitHub
- Experience using Windows and Linux systems
- experience porting software from Windows to Linux, including compiling and cross-compiling libraries as needed
- Ability to work in a team environment to brainstorm and innovate new ideas
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
- Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field
Compensation
- Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
- The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD).
- The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
