About the role

Strong use of Excel and other Office software applications.
This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the manual finishing and hand bindery processes within production.

Assist with scheduling hand bindery projects as needed to support maximum efficiency.
Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to department leads and production staff.
Manage a workforce that may include temporary employees.
Maintain departmental housekeeping standards and ensure they are followed consistently.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Associate degree required.
Minimum of five years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Prompt and regular attendance required.
Ability to sit, stand, and walk regularly throughout the shift.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Ideal Candidate:
Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead, coach, and support employees.

Experienced in hand bindery, finishing, print production, packaging, or a similar manufacturing environment.
Comfortable leading production teams in a fast-paced setting.
Hands-on leader who is willing and able to set up and run equipment when needed.
Detail-oriented, organized, and focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Manufacturing, printing experience preferred.
Associate's degree required, bachelor's degree preferred.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Printing, bindery, finishing, or packaging experience preferred.

$60,000 - $65,000+ annually
