About the role
- Kaufman, Hall & Associates, LLC, is seeking a Resource Manager to oversee the effective deployment of consulting resources across practices.
- This role serves as a critical bridge between leadership strategy and operational execution, ensuring staffing decisions align with client needs, business priorities, and consultant development.
- The Resource Manager is responsible for owning staffing workflows, driving utilization outcomes, and ensuring data integrity within the PSA and staffing tools, while coaching junior team members and partnering closely with practice leadership.
Responsibilities
- Partner with practice leaders and project managers to proactively match consultants to engagements
- Provide training, guidance, and ongoing support to consultants and leaders on system usage and staffing processes
- Monitor and manage utilization performance, partnering with leadership to address gaps and drive improvements
- Own reporting on key KPIs, including utilization, capacity, and staffing forecasts
- Help drive consistency in processes, documentation, and execution across the resource management team
- Support performance management processes by ensuring accurate tracking of staffing history and feedback timing
Requirements
- The ideal candidate will possess 3-6 years of experience in resource management, professional services operations, HR, or workforce planning
- Strong understanding of staffing models, utilization management, and consulting operations
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and reporting tools
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Proven ability to balance multiple priorities and make informed staffing decisions

Compensation
- The current salary range for this role is $89,000 - $125,000.
