About the role

  • Enhance NetSuite configuration across core finance modules (e.g., vendors, items, PO and invoice flows, journal entries, basic workflows/scripts) to reduce manual work and improve data quality.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a go‑to partner for Finance and cross‑functional teams on how to translate business needs into scalable systems designs and well‑controlled workflows.
  • Lead initiatives to tighten SOX‑aligned controls, close process gaps, and improve audit readiness across finance systems.
  • Champion best practices, training, and documentation so finance stakeholders can adopt new capabilities confidently and maintain high‑quality transactional data at scale.
  • You communicate clearly and concisely with both technical and non‑technical partners, building trust with stakeholders across Finance, Procurement, Legal, IT, and vendor teams.
  • You thrive in ambiguity, can balance operational support with project work, and take ownership to move workstreams forward without needing perfect information.
  • Take ownership of day‑to‑day support for NetSuite and Zip, including triaging user issues, executing configuration updates, and managing permissions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and deliver reporting and dashboards that increase visibility into spend, purchasing cycle times, accruals, and other key finance metrics.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with NetSuite (finance modules) including Chart of Accounts structure, saved searches, SuiteQL, SuiteCloud Development Framework reports, and workflows.
  • Requirements-gathering skills: ability to translate stakeholder needs into clear user stories, process maps, and technical/functional specifications.
  • Possess strong understanding of financial accounting processes including General Ledger, multi-entity consolidation, intercompany accounting, and management reporting
  • You are a learn‑it‑all: you actively seek feedback, ask great questions, and iterate quickly when priorities shift in a high‑growth environment.

Nice to have

  • Technical proficiency with SQL, Python, or scripting languages for data analysis and integration supportNetSuite developer experience (integrations, restlets, suitescript).
  • Experience with other finance-adjacent systems (e.g., Avalara, Workday, bank integrations, 3PL carriers, contract lifecycle management tools, data warehouses/BI tools).
  • The platform addresses a broad spectrum of MSK care - from acute injury, to chronic pain, to post-surgical rehabilitation - through personalized, evidence-based care.

Skills

  • ability to translate stakeholder needs into clear user stories, process maps, and technical/functional specifications.
  • Detail-oriented and organized in documenting all processes created and implemented.
  • Prior experience implementing or scaling Zip or similar AP system at a growing company.
  • KnowledgeExposure ofto SOX compliance requirements, internal controls for finance systems, and/or ITGC public-company finance processes.
  • Experience with AI solutions and automations.
  • Background in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field, with understanding of GAAP/IFRS reporting requirements.
  • Employees in hybrid roles are required to be in the office 3 days per week, for the full 8 hours of a typical business day.
