About the role

Position requires working on fast paced technically complex projects in the Nuclear industries.
Prepare three-dimensional computer models using Smart 3D and resolve interferences.
Prepare intelligent P&IDs using Smart P&ID.

Typical duties and essential functions will include but not be limited to the preparation, design, modification, coordination, and/or review of the following: Prepare electronic documents in AutoCAD and/or Microstation.
Apply relevant Codes & Standards and regulatory requirements and coordinate with design team to ensure the compliances.
Create Piping isometrics, general equipment layout drawings, general arrangements, material take off lists, reports etc.
Sound knowledge of best practices and principles for equipment layout, pipe routing, pipe supports, maintenance and accessway volumes.

About you College diploma or equivalent work experience with a minimum of 5 years in mechanical design and drafting.
Ability to take marked up engineering drawings and incorporate changes in 2D and 3D environments.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with staff in a team environment as well as independently.
Must be "Team" oriented with a demonstrated ability to work well with other and promote a positive work environment.
