Responsibilities
- Forecast and maintain appropriate inventory levels for assigned categories following lean manufacturing principles
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and continuously evaluate for quality and reliability
- Provide purchasing and supply chain support for various departments within Alkegen including but not limited to: Operations, Accounting, Receiving, Maintenance, Engineering, Customer Service, R&D, and Quality
- Issue Supplier Scorecards and maintain the Global Risk Matrix database for assigned sites
- Lead vendor onboardings for both plant and corporate requirements
- Ability to set priorities, exercise professional judgment, handle confidential material, and manage a diverse workload
- Provide purchasing and supply chain support for various departments within

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business or other related fields
- A minimum of 3 years of Purchasing, Demand Planning, and Inventory Management experience in a manufacturing setting
- 3 years of MRP/ERP and Microsoft Office software experience
- Must have knowledge and experience with both domestic and international shipping, domestic receiving, and the use of 3PL's.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills

- Basic contract interpretation
- Purchasing experience in an automotive & industrial manufacturing setting
- Fundamental accounting and finance knowledge
- Experience with subcontractors and off-site warehousing

- Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
