About the role
- As a Associate Forward Deployed Engineer at Penumbra, you will play a critical role in determining the company's long term goals.
- This role works across software engineering, DevOps, and customer delivery to facilitate the integration and deployment of AI solutions.

Requirements
- Requires some lifting and moving of up to 15 pounds Must be able to move between buildings and floors.
- Must be able to remain stationary and use a computer or other standard office equipment, such as a printer or copy machine, for an extensive period of time each day.
- Must be able to read, prepare emails, and produce documents and spreadsheets.
- Must be able to move within the office and access file cabinets or supplies, as needed.
- Must be able to communicate and exchange accurate information with employees at all levels daily.
- Willingness and ability to work on site.
Nice to have
- Assist in deploying AI-based applications, automation workflows, and related services into production environments
- Translate functional needs into implementable technical solutions
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline setup, release processes, and environment management
- Tailor solutions to align with specific business workflows and constraints
- Monitor application performance, availability, and reliability in production
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in live environments, escalating as needed
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (preferably Python)
- Foundational knowledge of AI/ML concepts or enterprise AI tools
Compensation
- Range Per Hour: $35.00 - 50.00 / hour Individual compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
