About the role
- The Director, Enterprise Applications (Marketing) is responsible for leading the strategy, delivery, optimization, and support of enterprise applications that enable global Marketing organizations.
- This role partners closely with Marketing leadership, Marketing Operations, Finance, IT, Data & Analytics, and external vendors to define and execute a technology roadmap that improves marketing effectiveness, operational efficiency, customer engagement, and business outcomes.
- The Director will oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of marketing platforms and business processes, ensuring scalable, integrated, and data-driven solutions that support demand generation, digital marketing, customer journeys, campaign operations, lead management, marketing analytics, and emerging AI-driven capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the enterprise applications strategy supporting Marketing's business objectives and growth priorities.
- Partner with Marketing executives to understand business needs and translate them into technology capabilities and roadmap investments.
- Own the portfolio of Marketing applications, including but not limited to:
- Lead Management and Attribution Solutions

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- 12+ years of experience in Enterprise Applications, Business Systems, or Digital Transformation roles.
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing teams and large-scale enterprise initiatives.
- Deep expertise supporting Marketing organizations and marketing technology ecosystems.
- Experience leading implementations and optimization efforts involving platforms such as Marketo, Salesforce, or comparable technologies.
- Strong understanding of marketing operations, lead management, campaign execution, customer journeys, and marketing analytics.
- Experience managing enterprise integrations, data architecture, and cross-functional business processes.
- Proven track record delivering strategic programs and business transformation initiatives.
Nice to have
- Experience in SaaS, technology, or high-growth enterprise environments.
- Knowledge of AI-enabled marketing platforms and emerging MarTech trends.
- Experience with Agile product delivery methodologies.
- Salesforce, Adobe, Marketo, or related platform certifications.
- Familiarity with data governance, privacy regulations, and compliance frameworks.

Compensation
- Alteryx is committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as your relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.
- The salary range for this role in the United States is $154,000 - $204,000.
