Responsibilities
- Maintains an orderly surgical field and consistently passes instruments and supplies quickly and efficiently to the surgeon.
- Maintains surgical specimens in a manner that identifies and preserves them for pathology evaluation.
- Transports and delivers items, equipment, and medications (excluding controlled substances and IV chemotherapy drugs) throughout the facility.
Requirements
- The Surgical Tech demonstrates a clear understanding of sterile techniques and maintains a working knowledge of the specialized instrumentation and equipment required for a variety of special procedures.

- We have earned Primary Stroke Center certification from The Joint Commission and Get with the Guidelines® Gold Plus Achievement in Stroke from the American Heart Association.
