As an AI and Data Scientist at Verily, you will be supporting our core mission to build advanced data and AI capabilities for Verily's portfolio of products.
You will collaborate with a diverse cross-functional team to build reusable and scalable tools that unlock information from structured and unstructured clinical data.

Advanced degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Biomedical Informatics, Biomedical Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum Qualifications
7+ years of experience applying advanced machine learning and AI techniques - including supervised/unsupervised learning, NLP, and LLMs - to clinical or digital health applications.
Experience working with and curating real-world healthcare data (e.g., EHRs), including structured and unstructured clinical data, as well as direct experience with LLM technologies and prompt optimization.
Strong proficiency in Python and experience building scalable data science and machine learning solutions.

The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is CAD 184,000 - 206,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
