Experience with coextruded blown or cast film development.
Experience with continuous web manufacturing processes.
Experience with Six Sigma or structured problem-solving methodologies.
Experience supporting product commercialization and manufacturing scale-up.
Experience Level
The position title and level will be aligned with the selected candidate's qualifications, technical expertise, and demonstrated ability to contribute to the Product Applications team.
Effective project management skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands.

Translate customer and market needs into technical product specifications.
Prepare Bills of Material (BOMs), technical documentation, and commercialization packages.
Interact with raw material suppliers to stay current with polymer systems, functional additives, physical property testing techniques, and various packaging and manufacturing equipment.
Assess current products and product lines for increasing sustainability across Amcor, which may include, downgauging, carbon emission reduction, recycled content and renewable or compostable materials.
Effectively communicate technical findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Science, Materials Science, or a related engineering discipline.
3+ years of experience in product development, process engineering, manufacturing engineering, materials engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience working with polymer materials, film products, extrusion technologies, or similar manufacturing processes.
