About the role
- Position Description CGI Federal is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Front End Developer with expertise in Angular to join our innovative team.
- This position is located in our Fairfax, VA or Lafayette, LA or Knoxville, TN office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.
- The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications.

Requirements
- Expertise in Angular (preferably Angular 10+).
- Experience with Angular RxJS for handling asynchronous data streams.
- Experience with responsive design and CSS frameworks like Bootstrap, Materialize, or Angular Material.
- Proficiency in Git for version control.
- Experience with branching strategies and pull request workflows.
Nice to have
- Expert in writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Proven experience to write unit and integration tests with Jasmine, Karma, and/or Protractor.
- Good understanding of various Java script integrations to Angular.
- Sound knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Boot strap, Angular material.
- Good understanding of state management, NGRX, and implementing complex enterprise applications.
- Participate in code reviews with peers, knowledge of GIT, and Google Secure Source Manager is a plus
- Strong time management and work organization with verbal and oral communication skills.
- Up to date with emerging trends and technologies in front end development.
Skills
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- State Management:
- Experience with state management libraries such as NgRx, Akita, or others.
- APIs and Backend Integration:
- Proficient in consuming RESTful APIs and integrating them with Angular applications.
- Experience with HTTP Client and handling API responses.
- Experience working with GCP and cloud native application development.
- Experience working with docker, NGINX.
- Testing
- Knowledge of unit testing and end to end testing frameworks like Jasmine, Karma, and Protractor.
- Experience with test driven development (TDD) and Behavior driven development (BDD) practices.
