Responsibilities
- Manage equipment installations, repair, and maintenance projects on campus.
- Help with pre-construction meetings which include project phasing, schedules, reviewing construction documents, equipment selection, installation verification, equipment startup, and commissioning.
Requirements
- Two years of refrigeration experience or a two-year refrigeration certification from a technical school and the ability to get the EPA Certification to be able to handle the various refrigerants we use on campus.
- face and hand protection is required.
- appropriate cold-weather gear (gloves, coat, headgear) is required.
- a safety harness is required when working above 6 feet.

Nice to have
- Five years of refrigeration, steam, flight, and regular dish machine experience.
- Two years of ice machine installation, maintenance, & repair experience.
- At least two years of management, mentoring, and training experience
- Experienced in HVAC diagnosis, repair and maintenance including furnaces, air conditioning, water heaters, refrigerators, gas, and electric ranges.
- Experienced in the reading of blueprints both electrical and mechanical and excellence in troubleshooting and repair of foodservice equipment and refrigeration.

Compensation
- Typical Starting Pay: Compensation will be based on qualifications and experience and is competitive with current market rates.
