About the role
- Redhorse is transforming how the Department of Defense (DoD) utilizes data and technology.
- We are seeking a highly skilled Senior-Level Data Scientist to join our team supporting the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition & Sustainment (OUSD(A&S)).
- You will play a critical role in advancing data-driven decision-making across the DoD, designing and implementing robust data solutions that directly impact national security initiatives and investments.
Responsibilities
- Support acquisition missions by extracting insights from structured and unstructured datasets.
- Build predictive and prescriptive models to inform decision-makers and commanders.
Requirements
- Required Experience/Clearance
- Experience with big data systems, including Apache Spark and Databricks.
- Experience with ETL processes.
- Experience with the Advana Data Environment.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or MilCloud 2.0.
- Experience with multiple coding languages.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree plus 7+ years of experience, or a Master's degree plus 5+ years of experience.
Compensation
- The salary range provided for this position represents the anticipated base salary for successful candidates.
- In addition to base salary, eligible employees may participate in Redhorse's comprehensive benefits programs and may be eligible for performance-based or other incentive compensation, where applicable.
