About the role
- This position requires teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses in civil engineering, with a specialization in geotechnical engineering and related areas of the civil engineering or geology.
- The teaching expectation is four courses per semester.
- Courses are usually delivered in person on the Pocatello campus and potentially through distance-learning formats to the other campuses and online students via Zoom.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver effective, student-centered instruction.
- Support senior capstone design projects and student professional development.
- Support student clubs and student-centric activities
- Support student recruitment, outreach, and engagement with industry partners.
- Participate in department meetings and other activities that support the mission of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering.
