About the role
- This is an exciting time to join OneOncology.
- This role is responsible for prepping and reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses while ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP.
Responsibilities
- Support month-end close activities, including preparation of journal entries and reconciliations within the assigned functional areas (e.g., revenue, assets, opex, liabilities, etc.)
- Partner with Practice Accounting Operation to analyze results and support variance explanations.
- Support integration of new physicians, tuck-ins, and service lines, including establishing opening balance sheets, converting practices from cash to accrual basis, and ensuring alignment with OneOncology accounting policies.
- Support process improvements and automation initiatives to improve efficiency.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge (revenue recognition, lease accounting, liability recognition, etc.) and ability to perform technical research.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required (Master's degree preferred).
- Strong knowledge of internal controls and accounting best practices.
- Strong proficiency in Excel
- ERP system experience (Workday preferred).
- Active CPA license strongly preferred.
- Prior experience mentoring or reviewing work of junior staff a plus.
